Our race team are classified as Gammas or Alphas. Gammas are from the homeland of Petuaria Parisorum. Alphas were generated in the Bearrocscir. Each member of the team compete in UK time trials, both Opens and Club events (CTT Type A & B). Gammas lean towards fixed wheel setups, bikes that are simple and efficient but brutal to ride fast. Alphas prefer the versatility of geared setups. All Jem Hadar enjoy the fixed wheel bike set up knowing it is a very efficient model of organically powered propulsion, without the losses associated with derailleurs, bad chainlines and the like. Not all terrain opens itself to racing on fixed, but for training all Jem'Hadar know you get a better 'bang for your buck' on fixed.
